We’ve always heard, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Now according to the British Thoracic Society apples need to move and share some of limelight. Their literature shows tomatoes and apples are key to reducing the risk of asthma and chronic lung disease.
Tomatoes are rich in vitamin c and contain a powerful cancer fighter, known as, lycopene. The best way to receive the benefits of both of these is to eat five apples a week and a tomato every other day.
Summer is fading fast and with it warm weather. So, of course, the seasonal recipes are starting to pop up. This is one I’ve never seen before but I’m absolutely going to true this year with my family. It’s called Keto Pumpkin Cake!
Not only am I a fan of anything cake but you throw in keto and pumpkin and I’ll be your best friend!!! I certainly hope it becomes a holiday favorite in many homes for years to come. ❤️
When I was little I remember my mom loving summer season because of the abundance of strawberries. Strawberry shortcake was a if not a nightly ritual during summer time it was definitely a regular.
So this recipe is one she will love and I’m pretty sure you all will too!! It’s low carb, gluten-free and has a paleo option. Can we say, yas!!!! I’m about to break out my wisk and bake!!!
Some of the best dinners as a kid were pigs in a blanket. Who ever thought of wrapping hot dogs in bread? What’s with the name too? But no matter what it’s the best food and now it’s even better because is keto!!!
The last few weeks of summer just got that much sweeter!
